Three months after surgery, casts of the "First Smile" prosthesis are mounted.

Virtual teeth are set into the correct position using the 3D data from the scanned casts. The virtual titanium framework is then designed to support the teeth.

A touch probe provides micron level data about the milling process. The virtual design is translated into computer code to move the five axis mill and cut the titanium blank.

The milled titanium framework fits precisely to the laboratory analogues.

The titanium is covered with a pink opaque and the teeth are positioned using computer technology.

The artificial teeth are bonded to the titanium to create a strong NeXsmile prosthesis.
